Curlew School District 50

      Curlew School is located in Curlew, Washington.  We are a small unincorporated town in northeast section of the state and we are about ten miles from the Canadian border. Our school site houses all students from grades Pre-school through 12th grade. Our enrollment averages about 200 students. Main employers of our area are involved in mining, logging, the school, and a Job Corp center.  Our area has great fishing and hunting, as well as snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter months.

      In sports our mascot is the Cougar. We belong to District 7 of our state structured WIAA organization and are a member of the Northeast 1B league which features twelve schools.  Our classification is "1B".  Classifications are figured by number of students in grades 10-12.

  • Upcoming Sports Tuesday, March 24: Baseball and softball host Pateros in doubleheaders. 2pm start (start time originally was 1pm).  

    Friday, March 27:  Baseball at Wellpinit.  2pm start to doubleheader. Softball games are postponed to a later date.

    Tuesday, March 31: Baseball at softball at Oroville.  3pm start to doubleheader

    Thursday, April 2: Baseball JV at Republic.  2pm

    Saturday, April 4:   Baseball and softball travel to A.C.H.  Doubleheaders start at Noon.  Games are in Hartline.
