       Curlew School is located in Curlew, Washington.  We are a small unincorporated town in northeast section of the state and we are about ten miles from the Canadian border. Our school site houses all students from grades Pre-school through 12th grade. Our enrollment averages about 200 students. Main employers of our area are involved in mining, logging, the school, and a Job Corp center.  Our area has great fishing and hunting, as well as snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter months.

      In sports our mascot is the Cougar. We belong to District 7 of our state structured WIAA organization and are a member of the Northeast 1B league which features twelve schools.  Our classification is "1B".  Classifications are figured by number of students in grades 10-12.

  • Spring Sports awards ceremony is Wednesday, May 29.  Ceremony begins at 6pm and will recognize baseball, softball, and track team members.

  • Congratulations to Doug Herrmann and Raia Belcher for qualifying for the state 1B track meet this coming weekend at Eastern Washington University.  Doug qualified in the 300m hurldes, Raia the 1600m run.
